Welcome to the NW Potters Guild web site

Northwest Potters Guild is a group people with a common love of the arts. We all have “real” jobs but share a common need to express our creativity. Ceramics has been the vehicle we use to fill that need. The guild was formed in the fall of 2004 with only an inkling of what lay ahead. To start we had 2 electric kilns, 5 wheels and a fair start of the pieces for a down draft gas kiln. We rented space in a building formerly used for steel fabrication and set about building a studio. It took more time and money than we had ever imagined but after 8 months we had our first firing and have been going strong ever since. We have added more wheels, a slab roller, a spray booth, work tables and a glaze ingredient table. There is 24-7 access to the studio, make our own glazes and control our own firings. We have canopies and display stands to use at the sales we participate in.
